Dangerous Dogs Policy

We believe that our field should be accessible to ALL dogs, no matter of how they have been labelled. However, we have been given specific clauses by our insurance to allow certain breeds into our field. Please read the below rules and submit the form & documents at the end. 
 
Any dog listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 or the Control of Dogs (Scotland) Act 2010 or the Dangerous Dogs (Northern Ireland) Order 1991, or any replacement legislation, MUST follow the below rules and terms:

1. The dog is registered or specifically exempted from the applicable
legislation and a copy of the exemption order or certificate is
is given to THE DOG FIELD AT EWEN Ltd

2. A copy of the owner's public liability insurance certificate for the
dog is given to THE DOG FIELD AT EWEN Ltd

3. The dog handler ratio is 1:1 with their handler at all times unless
with other dogs from the same household;

4. The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until the gate is shut when
entering the exercise field, this includes being muzzled and on a lead whilst in the carpark;

5. The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate to
leave the exercise field this includes being muzzled and on a lead whilst in the carpark; and

6. Only dogs from one household can use the exercise field at any one
time.
